With increased performance, she was promoted again to Corporate Planning Manager, Marketing Manager, and finally to the position of Director of Corporate Planning under the Managing Director.
During her distinguished career with the State-Owned-Enterprise (SOE), she developed mission-critical expertise in coordinating the airline business with the parent Ministry—the Treasury, Central Bank, Legal Corporation, Aircraft Manufacturers, IATA, ICAO, SADC, EAC, AFRAA, the World Bank and other international financial institutions.
Some of Ms. Mrema’s prolific assignments and key positions while at ATC include being the Head of Marketing, Acting Secretary to the ATC Board of Directors, and Head of the ATC privatization team, which worked closely with consultants of a World Bank affiliate—International Finance Corporation (IFC) under the guidance of the Presidential Parastatal Sector Reform Commission (PSRC).
