When Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) is not feasible for clean cooking, Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) also known as Propane is preferred over electricity. The use of biogas, ethanol or solar remains highly limited, if at all uniformly available in meaningful quantities. Households in communities with a very high population relying on clean energy as the primary source for cooking overwhelmingly prefer gas over electricity. As incomes rise and natural gas infrastructure becomes better established, urban households will shift from LPG to natural gas, leaving LPG primarily for rural households.

Gas Titan is unconflicted, unlimited and uncontrolled by any LPG importers or bottlers. This is possible because Gas Titan does not need any exclusive agreement to buy bulk LPG cylinders from the free market for our end-user consumers. In other words, there is no LPG production company that owns Gas Titan or its parent company—i.e. Petrogas Field Services Ltd.
